Seneca Falls Police Beat 6/28/10

On June 23rd, 2010 at approx. 3:30 PM Seneca Falls Police arrested William J. Rouland III age 22 from 34 West Wright Ave Waterloo, NY for Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the 3rd Degree and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana. The arrest stems from a report the Seneca Falls Police received of a trespass in progress on Adams Street. While Officers were responding, the Seneca County 911 Center reported that the subject was now leaving the residence in a green pick-up truck. Officers then seen a green pick-up truck turn from Jay Street onto East Bayard Street where Seneca Falls Police conducted a traffic stop on that vehicle. When Officers ran the driver of the pickup it was discovered that William J. Rouland’s drivers license was suspended. Further investigation showed Rouland to be in possession of a small plastic bag of marijuana and a glass marijuana pipe. The original trespass complainant did not wish to pursue charges on Rouland. Rouland was arraigned in the Seneca Falls Town Court in front of Judge Laird and committed to the S.C.C.F. on $500.00 cash or $1,000.00 Ins. Bond. Rouland is scheduled to reappear on July 14th, 2010 at 9:00 AM. On Saturday June 26,2010 at approximately 2:00 a.m. Seneca Falls Police arrested James P. Hayhurst age 23 of 1173 North Street Beaumont TX. Hayhurts was charged with DWI and Agg. DWI for having a blood alcohol content greater than .18 % following an investigation into a complaint on State Street in the Village of Seneca Falls. Hayhurst was arraigned in Seneca Falls Town Court and committed to SCCF in lieu of $500.00 cash bail/ $1,000.00 ins. bond. Hayhurst is to reappear in Seneca Falls Town Court on 07-01-10 at 10:00 to further answer the charges.On June 28th, 2010 at approx. 8:30 AM Seneca Falls Police arrested Rebekah J. Diamond, age 18 from 25 Peterman Road Apt#A-7 Seneca Falls, NY for Petit Larceny. It is alleged that sometime in the month of May 2010 Rebekah J. Diamond stole a cell phone out of another subjects mailbox located in the apartment complex of Hunter’s Run townhouses. Diamond was issued an appearance ticket to appear in the Seneca Falls Town Court on July 8th, 2010 at 10:00 AM.
