Partnership Between Hope Lake & Cultural Council

Cortland, NY (June 17, 2010) – Hope Lake Lodge and The Cultural Council of Cortland County are pleased to announce their partnership! HLL will host a wine and cheese fundraiser for The Cultural Council of Cortland County (CCCC) on July 9, 2010 from 5:00pm-8:00pm EST. The lobby area and the hallway displaying the local artists will be open for the public. This event is volunteer-driven; all proceeds of the $8.00 entry fee will go to The Cultural Council of Cortland County. Extra taste tickets can be purchased at the door. Tickets are being sold by the Cultural Council of Cortland County. The Cultural Council of Cortland County is cosponsoring a continuing exhibit of local art with Hope Lake Lodge in Virgil. Works will first be hung in early May and rotated semi-annually. Paintings and photographs are of local scenes, all of which are for sale and framed, ready to hang. All works are on display for six months or until sold and a 20% commission is given to CCCC. The CCCC’s mission is to promote the arts in Cortland County and values collaboration with other local organizations and businesses.
