Construction to replace the Main Street Bridge, located north of Trumball Corners Road and south of Newfield Schools in the Town of Newfield, will begin Monday, June 28, prompting TCAT to detour the Route 67.The project is expected to be completed in two to three months. Until then, theRoute 67 will be rerouted left onto Main Street from NY State Route 13 and then proceed to the Newfield Schools entrance and then back onto the normal route.Passengers who live south of the detour can use the park-and-ride located at the town hall. Those with concerns or comments are encouraged to contact TCAT’s Service Development Manager Nancy Oltz at 277-9388, ext. 300.TCAT this week is studying ways to accommodate passengers who will be inconvenienced by the detour.
