“Family Days” Along the Cayuga Lake Wine Trail

Visit any of our sixteen wineries during the month of July on Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays for our “Family Days Along the Cayuga Lake Wine Trail”. Each family receives our special Family Days card and when they make three different winery wine purchases they’ll receive a FREE Ice Cream Sundae at participating creameries. This year we have two ice cream shops participating in the program that surround Cayuga Lake. On the east side of Cayuga Lake in Aurora we have Dorie’s Café and Bakery. Dorie’s is a popular luncheonette with a breezy lakefront deck. There you can order soups, salads, sandwiches, and of course your favorite ice cream sundae from the restored soda fountain. The Cayuga Lake Creamery located on Rt. 89 in Interlaken co-owned by Jeff Kostick and Judy Gonroff encourage you to stop in and try anyone of their 36 flavors. They are a family owned and operated store, producing homemade super-premium ice cream and sorbets. “We serve sundaes with our delicious mainstay flavors of vanilla and chocolate and some of our specialty flavors like tiramisu or gianduia(chocolate hazelnut) says Jeff, but another great option is our wine sorbet”. Enjoy the beauty of Cayuga Lake, the fine wine and the sweetest creamiest confections you can taste. Children who accompany their parents will receive a mini-flyer, compliments of the Cayuga Lake Wine Trail.Make sure to visit the wineries during our Harvest Hoopla during the month of September where each winery hosts their own special Harvest Event.See It, Taste It, Live It, Love It – Cayuga Lake Wine Trail.
