Man reported taking pics of SF middle schoolers

The following is the text of a message that will be forwarded to all parents via Connect ED at 1:00 pm this afternoon. Information and/or questions related to the situation are being handled by the Police Department.Good afternoon. This is Bob McKeveny, SFCSD Superintendent. This message is to alert all parents that Seneca Falls CSD officials were provided with information by the SFPD earlier today. The information was that a suspicious person was observed at @ 8:20 am this morning by students and a parent before leaving to attend Stanton School. The person was described as a white older male with short gray hair, eyeglasses and clean-shaven. The person was driving a white four door Buick or Oldsmobile with a NY license plate. The person stopped his vehicle in the middle of the road (Spring Street & Garden Street intersection) and took pictures of children on his cell phone while they were waiting for the school bus.The SFPD has asked that we forward the information to parents and guardians. Anyone with information or aware of similar situations are asked to contact the SFPD at 568-5555.Thank you.
