Seneca Falls Sheriff’s Police Beat 6/7/10

Seneca County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Shawn E. Graham, age 30, of 1909 Black Brook Road, Seneca Falls for Coercion in the Second Degree. The charges stemmed from an incident where Graham allegedly threatened to smash a window out on a vehicle if a Town of Seneca Falls woman left the property where the two were. Graham was arraigned before the Town of Seneca Falls Court where an order of protection was issued to the victim. Graham was released to a third party and is to reappear in the Town of Seneca Falls court on 06/23/2010 at 10:00 am to answer the charges.Seneca County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Nancy A. Caine, Age 52, 1241 Aunkst Road, Waterloo, New York on Ritter Road in the Town of Fayette for Driving While Intoxicated, Driving with a BAC of .08% or more and Failure to Signal for a Turn. Caine is to answer the charges in Town of Fayette Court on 06/23/2010.Seneca County Sheriff’s Deputies investigated a two car personal injury motor vehicle accident in the Village of Interlaken. Sheriff’s Deputies report a vehicle driven by Alfred E. Kahn, age 92, of 601 Savage Farm Drive, Ithaca, NY, was traveling east on West Avenue in the Village of Interlaken when Kahn failed to stop at a stop sign. Kahn’s vehicle then struck a vehicle turning onto West Ave. operated by Leslie J. Adams-Compton, age 47, of 3575 West Avenue, Interlaken, New York. Kahn was treated on scene by South Seneca Ambulance Personnel for a minor chest injury. Adams-Compton and a passenger in Kahn’s vehicle, Mary E. Rossiter, age 86, of 316 N. Geneva Street, Ithaca, NY were not injured. Kahn was issued a traffic ticket for Failure to Stop at a Stop Sign. The Interlaken Fire Department assisted at the scene.
