Volunteer Positions Available

The Geneva Area Chamber of Commerce is creating a volunteer program geared toward greeting visitors and assisting in Visitor Center activities.The Chamber Visitor’s Center sees thousands of visitors through its doors each year looking for directions, things to do and other general referrals. In 2009 the Chamber had over 6,000 visitors.Volunteers would work alongside the Visitor Services Coordinator to assist visitors with tourist information, including referrals and directions. Minor office duties may apply, such as handling phone inquiries. Volunteers must be flexible as hours may vary due to visitor traffic patterns and may include weekends. Volunteers may be asked to work out of office at functions, such as an information table at various events, therefore a vehicle and driver’s license is needed.
