The National Weather Service has issued a High Wind Warning for the entire region through 10 o’clock tonight. Forecasters are expecting sustained winds up to 40 mph and gusts up to 60 mph. The winds could cause damage and down power lines throughout the area.After the heaviest winds roll through later tonight, temperatures will drop into the 30’s and precipitation is expected and could fall in the form of snow.Mother’s Day is expected to be partly sunny with high temperatures not even climbing out of the 40’s. There is a 30% chance of a brief shower, especially in the morning on Sunday.
