On May 6th, 2010 at approx. 1:30 PM Seneca Falls Police arrested Sean K. Chapin, age 26 from 26 Walnut Street Seneca Falls, NY for Assault in the Third Degree. The arrest stems from a physical altercation that occurred on April 25th, 2010 at approx. 2:35 AM in front of a local bar. During the altercation, Chapin allegedly struck another subject on the left side of the face with a closed fist causing abrasions, contusions, swelling, and pain. Chapin was arraigned in the Seneca Falls Town Court in front of Judge Laird and committed to the S.C.C.F. on $2,500 cash or $5,000 Ins. Bond. Chapin is scheduled to re-appear in Seneca Falls Town Court on May 26th, 2010 at 9:00 AM.
