On April 30th, 2010 at approx. 12:35 AM Seneca Falls Police arrested Richard M. Thurston, age 41 from Fayette NY for No Trailer Lights and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle in the 3rd degree. Thurston was stopped by Seneca Falls Police on Fall Street when the trailer Thurston was pulling with the vehicle he was operating was observed with no trailer lights. A further check of Thurstons drivers license showed that Thurston was suspended out of the Seneca Falls Town Court on April 25th, 2010 for failure to pay a fine. Thurston was issued Uniform Traffic Tickets and ordered to appear in Seneca Falls Town Court on May 20th, 2010 at 10:00 AM to answer the above charges.On April 30th, 2010 at approx. 1:30 AM Seneca Falls Police arrested Tina M. Shaffer, age 25 from 393 Wagner Street Lot#75 Waterloo, NY for Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle in the second degree. Seneca Falls Police observed a suspicious occupied vehicle with its lights off parked in the abandon Seneca Falls Town property near Bridge Street and South Street. When Officers checked the subjects inside, it was discovered that the driver, Tina M. Shaffer had a revoked and suspended drivers license. Shaffer was revoked for a prior DWI and was suspended three different times from three different courts all for failure to answer a summons. Shaffer was arraigned in the Seneca Falls Town Court in front of Judge Laird and committed to the SCSD on $500 cash or $1,000 Ins. Bond. Shaffer is to re-appear in front of Judge Mahoney on May 26th, 2010 at 9:00 AM.
