Local entrepreneurs Alex Orlando and Jim Ricci are opening a new restaurant in Seneca Falls and plan to offer the pleasant combination of good food, good fun, with good friends. They look forward to opening Bull’s Run Grille & Alehouse at 6-8 Ovid Street (which, back in the 1970’s & 80’s, was called Bull’s Run) on Memorial Day Weekend. Orlando and Ricci, both third generation Seneca Falls residents, are experienced business owners who are opening their first restaurant. They plan an extensive menu of exceptional pub food, plus steak, pasta and seafood specialties. In addition, they’ve installed a pizza oven with the intention of eventually offering delivery service. “We’ll get the restaurant operating correctly first” says Orlando, “then we’ll expand the operation as we build our expertise.” The location canal-side, under the Ovid Street Bridge, includes a large waterfront deck and plenty of space for private parties and holiday celebrations. The Grille’s opening, combined with the new boater services installed a bit further down the canal, should help make Seneca Falls a choice destination for this summer’s boaters. The proprietor’s are accepting employment applications for all positions. Those interested can submit their resume to: [email protected] Applications must be received no later than May 17.
