For the fourth year in a row, Schuyler Hospital’s Radiology Department passed the US FDA’sannual MQSA (Mammography Quality Standards Act) inspection with flying colors.Congress enacted MQSA to ensure that all women have access to quality mammography for the detection of breast cancer in its earliest, most treatable stages.The rigorous inspection evaluates equipment, staff credentials and training, policies, and performance – including quality, proper film identification, proper reporting, and proper documentation.For the 4th year in a row, the results of Schuyler Hospital’s MQSA inspection are, “All items in compliance.
