The Tony Collins Class of ’77 Celebrity Golf Classic committee has announced Millie’s Pantry “The Backpack Program”, Keuka Lake School, Humane Society of Yates County, the Geneva Community Center Boys and Girls Club and the Penn Yan Junior Mustang Football Players and Cheerleaders as the beneficiaries of this year’s event. The tournament offers two days of golfing at Seneca Lake Country Club in Geneva, NY on July 29 and July 30. Both days of golfing will be followed with a steak dinner at the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge 2030 in Penn Yan, NY. Golfers will be able to register for one day at $450 per team or both days for $650 per team . The event will be kicked off with a celebrity auction at the Penn Yan Moose on July 28 from 7pm-9pm. The celebrity auction is open to the public. Golf teams will have the opportunity to bid on celebrities to play with their foursomes. Also included this year, is a football camp for all area youth ages 7-18. The camp is free and will take place on July 30th from 9:00 to 11:30AM at the Penn Yan Academy football field. All youth who register in advance will receive a tournament t-shirt. Retired NFL players participating in the tournament will coach student athletes. Steve Grogan and Irving Fryar are two of the celebrities supporting this year’s event. Additional celebrities will be announced at a later date.Registration forms for participation in the tournament and the football camp will be available soon.
