Texas Roadhouse to Host Pre-Event Kick-Off

As a Mascot Mania event participant, Texas Roadhouse will host a pre-event kick-off for the 6th Annual BBQ in the Park and 40th Anniversary Community Celebration featuring Mascot Mania on Tuesday, April 20th from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM in front of their restaurant at 1750 County Road 64 in Horseheads. The public is invited to stop by Texas Roadhouse to purchase BBQ in the Park meal tickets, get information about becoming a Mascot Maniac and say hi to some of the participating mascots! Free appetizers will be available at Texas Roadhouse during the event. A flyer is required and can be picked up at Glove House Administrative Offices in Elmira.During the kick-off event, a coupon for a free appetizer at Texas Roadhouse will accompany each BBQ in the Park meal ticket purchased. All of the proceeds from the 6th Annual BBQ in the Park and 40th Anniversary Community Celebration featuring Mascot Mania will benefit children helped by Glove House programs. Photo opportunities with local mascots will be available as well as additional food options. Mascot Mania is a boxing event, where rival mascots will raise money to support Glove House. The mascots will playfully box each other in an inflatable Bouncy Boxing ring for three, one minute rounds beginning at 5:30 PM. The mascot who raises the most money will be the tournament winner!MASCOT MANIACS: Everyone is welcome to celebrate 40 years of Glove House by watching Mascot Mania at 5:30 PM. People of all ages are encouraged to become Mascot Maniacs to help their favorite mascot win! Each donation can be applied to the mascot of one’s choosing to help them win.
