The wines, obviously, are all made by local wineries. And the dishes are almost all created using cheese donated by our event sponsor McCadam Cheese, a New York State based cooperative of dairy farmers. So when attendees come out and enjoy samples of dishes like Cascata Winery’s Cheddar Biscuits w/ Riesling Apricot Jam or Arcadian Estate Winery’s Pinot Gris Cheese Spread, you’ll be enjoying some of the freshest, best locally produced cheese available. “The Spring Wine & Cheese Weekend is scheduled for Friday from 1pm – 5pm, Saturday and Sunday 10 am – 5 pm with attendees encouraged to enjoy as much, or as little of the event as their schedule permits. Standard tickets for all 2+ days of the event cost $30 each.In 1986 the Seneca Lake Wine Trail was formed in the heart of New York State’s Finger Lakes region to attract more visitors to experience its rich history, beauty, and production of world-class wines. Today, the Seneca Lake Wine Trail is one of the largest and most active wine trails in New York State with a community of over 34 wineries, a distillery, two breweries and a meadery.More information on the Seneca Lake Wine Trail, including high resolution pictures of the Trail and our past events are available in our online Press Room: http://senecalakewine.com/jc/content/section/6/212/For additional questions, please contact the Trail office toll-free at 877-536-2717.
