Seneca County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Ronald W. Loftus, age 38, of 3644 Orchard Street, Interlaken, New York on a warrant from the Town of Covert Court for Obstructing Governmental Administration in the Second Degree and Aggravated Harassment in the Second Degree. Deputies report the arrest stems from an incident that started at approximately 11:15 pm on the 13th of April until approximately 3:00 am on April 14th, in which Loftus allegedly made numerous phone calls to the Seneca County 911 Center, with no legitimate complaints, after previously being advised not to. Loftus was arraigned before the Town Of Covert Justice Shaw and committed to jail in lieu of $500.00 cash or $500.00 bail bond and he is to reappear in Covert Town Court on April 19, 2010 at 10:00am to answer the charges.
