Sheriff’s Deputies from Yates County are searching for two men ages 19 and 20 that appear to be missing from the Vine Valley Trailer Park area on Canandaigua Lake in the Town of Middlesex, New York. Investigation shows that Floyd Frey age 19 of Canandaigua and Randal Lis age 20 were to go camping overnight and likely arrived their late Wednesday evening approx midnight or early Thursday morning April 15. The Yates County 911 received call from a relative at 1:11AM April 16 who was unable to locate them at the trailer park. Their car and camping gear is there. Special thermal imaging equipment was used during the night by Yates deputies. Investigation shows that a vessel of some kind is missing from the shoreline and is believed to be a canoe. Currently a shoreline, water and land area search is being conducted assisted by Ontario County’s patrol boat. The NYSP helicopter is also searching from the air. Investigation continues.
