Seneca Falls Police Beat 04-06-10

The Seneca Falls Police Department arrested Michael R. Wheeler, age 26, of 4 Mechanic Street, Seneca Falls on Monday April 5th, 2010 following a 1:50pm traffic stop on Ovid Street and subsequent search of his residence. Wheeler was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree (Class B Felony), Unlawful Possession of Marijuana and Speed in Zone. Wheeler was found to be in possession of more than 50 Ecstasy Pills in both his vehicle and residence and a small quantity of marijuana. Wheeler was arraigned in Seneca Falls Town Court for these charges as well as a Parole Violation Warrant and is being held in the Seneca County Correctional Facility without bail and is to reappear in Town Court on April 9th, 2010 at 1pm. NYS Parole, NYSP and SCSD K-9 unit assisted in the investigation.
