The Cultural Council of Cortland County is cosponsoring a continuing exhibit of local art with Hope Lake Lodge in Virgil. Works will first be hung in early May and rotated semi-annually. Paintings and photographs of local scenes will be given priority. Artists should submit up to 6 images of proposed work by email attachment to [email protected] and will be notified of selections by May 1. All work must be for sale and framed ready to hang. Artists must agree to leave the work on display for six months or until sold. A 20% commission will be taken. Artists will be asked to sign a simple contract. For more information, visit www.cortlandarts.com or call 607-753-7786.
