Seneca Falls Police Warning of Scam

Chief Frederick V. Capozzi of the Seneca Falls Police Department would like to issue a warning of a fraudulent Mail Scam that has been received by some village residents. There have been letters received by some that indicate they have won a lottery or sweepstakes of some kind and ask that they call an Over Seas phone number to claim their prize. Chief Capozzi warns that if you receive any letter stating that you won a Lottery, Contest or Sweepstakes that you did not specifically enter Do Not call any phone numbers listed in the letter, Do Not send any money and contact your local Law Enforcement Agency.
