TCAT routes using the Stewart Avenue bridge, near the Chapter House, will be detoured for nearly two weeks starting Monday, March 22, as a result of construction on the bridge.This detour will affect routes 17, 20, 21, 31, 37, 40, 43, 52, 53, 65, 67 and 72.Routes using the Stewart Avenue bridge will need to detour using East State Street, Mitchell Street and College Avenue, in both directions.Bus stops at the corner of Stewart Avenue and Buffalo Street; Stewart Avenue and Seneca Street; Stewart Avenue and Williams Street; and at the Chapter House will be relocated to State Street and Stewart Avenue.City officials estimate the project will be completed by April 2 at which time the routes will return to normal.TCAT asks that passengers plan accordingly.
