On February 24, 2010 at approximately 11:15 PM, Seneca Falls Village Police arrested Joshua S. Moriarity, age 18, no address available at time of arrest / homeless. He was charged with criminal contempt in the second degree, menacing in the second degree, and endangering the welfare of a child. Police responded to a Green Street residence for a reported domestic incident. Moriarity is alleged to have threatened to cause bodily harm to a unidentified 13 year old male with a large kitchen knife. At the time, there was a valid order of protection issued out of Seneca Falls Town Court by the Honorable Joyce Mahoney. He was arraigned before Junius Town Court Justice Brian Laird. He was then committed to the Seneca County Correctional Facility on $2,500.00 cash bail / $5,000.00 secure bond. A return date was scheduled for Seneca Falls Town Court on March 4, 2010 at 9:00 AM.
