On a cold winter’s day, nothing warms the heart more, than a delicious cup of hot chocolate! South Seneca Elementary cafeteria was the place for a Student Council “Cocoa Café” fund raiser to benefit the Romulus Dog Rescue Society. Jenilee Watkins, advisor to the Student Council was pleased with a profit of over $300 for the week-long event. The 25¢ per cup fee included whipped cream, chocolate sauce, caramel sauce and sprinkles also and was available during lunch times in the cafeteria. Staff, parent volunteers and student council members manned the booth and assisted students for the 10 hours the booth was open during the week. Thank you to community members, staff and students and their families who participated in this fundraiser.
