On Wednesday, January 27th, 2010 at approximately 10:36 PM, the Waterloo Police Department arrested Damon M. Moody (age 41) of 400 West Main Street, Waterloo, NY 13165 for endangering the welfare of a child, harassment 2nd degree and criminal mischief 4th degree following a physical domestic with his girlfriend at their residence. It is alleged that Moody punched his girlfriend on the side of the face with a closed fist while she was holding their two month old daughter. After Moody’s girlfriend went into the house and into the bedroom, Moody followed her and pushed her into a baby crib causing the crib to break from the impact. The female fell to the ground while still holding the infant. The infant did not sustain any injuries from the fall. Moody was arraigned in theWaterloo Village Court where a class “A” order of protection was issued and Moody was committed to the Seneca County Correctional Facility on $2000.00 bail. He is to reappear at a later date to answer to these charges.
