Odessa NY: On January 21 at 2:56 pm, the Odessa Fire Department was dispatched to a reported structure fire at 5950 CR 14 in the Town of Cayuta. Upon the Odessa Fire Departments arrival they found smoke coming from the roof and eaves of the Bible Baptist Fellowship church. A second alarm was requested by Odessa Fire Chief John Jelliff bringing mutual aid from the Montour Falls, Watkins glen and Horseheads Town and Country Fire Departments. The cause of the fire was determined to be an electric organ. The Odessa Fire Department and members of the Schuyler County Fire Investigation team assisted in the investigation.
