Dr. Lisa Mulkin purchases Geneva-based dental practice

Dr. Ralph DeFelice, a fixture in the Geneva dental community for more than three decades, announced today the sale of his practice to Dr. Lisa Mulkin.“I am pleased and honored to be stepping into such big shoes. Dr. DeFelice’s impeccable reputation for providing quality dental care services in the Finger Lakes Region is the reason I was so eager when the opportunity presented itself,” said Dr. Mulkin. “I am fortunate to have found so personable, competent and knowledgeable a dentist to whom I can transfer my patients. I am confident that Dr. Mulkin will continue delivering quality dental care as I gradually phase out,” added Dr. DeFelice.About Dr. Mulkin:Dr. Mulkin was born and raised in Wellsville, NY. She attended SUNY Geneseo and graduated in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. From there, she attended SUNY at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) in 2002.She completed her general practice residency at St. Joseph’s Hospital Heath Care Center in Syracuse, NY. >From there, she worked for a general dentistry practice in Dayton, OH, before moving to Elmwood Dental Group in Rochester where she spent the last five years. Dr. Mulkin is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), New York State Dental Society, Seventh District Dental Society and Academy of General Dentistry. She is married to Dr. Joshua M. Souweine, who operates Calm Lake Dental in Farmington. They reside in Victor, NY.
