The Waterloo Police Department arrested Jeffery M. Merlone age 32 of 2451 State Route 89 Waterloo, NY 13165 for Failure to Signal, Operating a Motor Vehicle while the Registration is Suspended, DWI,Operating a Motor Vehicle while .08 % BAC or Higher, and Aggravated DWI after a traffic stop in the Village of Waterloo on December 23, 2009. He was arraigned in the Village of Waterloo Court before Judge Mattoon where he was released to a third party. Merlone is scheduled to re-appear on Feb. 17, 2010 to answer the charges.The Waterloo Police Department arrested Peter B. Vanderwall the third, age 20 of 47 North Seneca Street Waterloo, NY 13165 for Failure to Use Designated Laneway, Leaving the Scene of a Property Damage Accident, DWI and Operating a Motor Vehicle While .08% BAC or Higher after investigating a property damage accident on 12/30/09 in the Village of Waterloo. Vanderwall was issued four tickets and was released. He is scheduled to appear in the Village of Waterloo Courtbefore Judge Mattoon on January 20, 2010 to answer the charges.
