Two people were arrested following a police investigation into an alleged underage drinking party taking place in the Village of Seneca Falls on the evening of 12/10/09. Village police report that on 12/19/09 at 5:45 p.m., Danielle Meyer, age 22, of 55 Bridge Street, Apt. 2, Seneca Falls, was arrested on 2 counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child. Police also state that on 12/23/09 at 11:18 a.m. they arrested was Edgar Hayes, same address, age 24, on 2 counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child and 3 counts of Unlawfully Dealing with a Child in the 1st Degree. Village police stated that upon investigating this incident, it was determined that Hayes supplied alcohol to individuals under the age of 21, 2 of whom were under 17 years of age, and that Meyer was present on the night of the incident and allowed Hayes to provide the alcohol to the minors. Meyer was arraigned in Seneca Falls Town Court and committed to SCCF on $1000 Cash/$2000 Bond and had to re-appear in court on12/23/09 at 9:00 a.m. Hayes was arraigned in Seneca Falls Town Court as well and committed to SCCF on $1000 Cash/$2000 Bond and has to re-appear in court on 01/13/10 at 9:00 a.m. to answer the charges.
