On 10/15/09 at approx. 10:17 p.m., the Seneca Falls Police arrested Amanda L. Fish, age 22, of 224 Fall Street, Seneca Falls, NY for Falsely Reporting an Incident in the 3rd Degree and Making a False Written Statement. Village police state that they received a report of an alleged burglary that occurred at Fish’s residence and that a television was stolen. Upon further investigation by village police, it was discovered that Fish had lied about the incident and that no burglary took place nor was the television stolen, but was purchased by a relative who came by the residence earlier that night to pick up the television. Fish was issued appearance tickets to appear in Seneca Falls Town Court on 10/22/09 at 10:00 a.m. to answer the charges.
