In response to the SWINE INFLUENZA A (H1N1) virus, Schuyler Hospital is taking all necessary precautions, as required by the NYS Department of Health, and in concert with a regional consortium of healthcare agencies.Schuyler Hospital is removing opportunities for multiple contacts, to avoid contact exposure, and has also removed coffee pots from shared areas. In the Hospital’s Emergency Department, patients with flu symptoms will be directed to sit in an area separate from well patients so as to avoid spreading the virus.Masks and alcohol hand cleansers are on hand at all entrances to the Hospital.
