The Bloomfield Steelers A-team youth football team will be playing this Sunday September 20th against the Junior Lyons Lions in Lyons, N.Y. The Bloomfield A-team is undefeated with a 4-0 record and are coming off their biggest win of the season with a thrilling 12-6 victory over the Gananda Panthers who were also undefeated at the time. Bloomfield who had a touchdown called back due to a penalty earlier in the game intercepted a Gananda pass in their own end zone on fourth down and five yards to go with 20 seconds left in the game.Bloomfield takes on Lyons this weekend for their fifth game of the season in their 38th year as a program which is the longest running program in the entire Finger Lakes Youth Football & Cheerleading league which has been a league since 1997 and was formerly called the Vince Lombardi Youth Football league.
