Firematics Day on Saturday in Schuyler Co.

The Odessa Fire Department is hosting the 51st annual Schuyler County Firefighters Association Firematics Day on Saturday September 19, 2009 at Catharine Park. Registration will begin at 8:00am and activities will start at 9:00 am. This event is open to firefighters, emergency medical personnel and the general public. The day’s events include a motor vehicle extrication demonstration, various firefighter and emergency medical competitions and a firefighter waterball competition. Fire prevention material and vendors will be on hand as well. The cost of entry for the day, which includes lunch, is $3.00 per person and $1.00 for firefighters, junior firefighter and emergency medical personnel.
