TCAT detours for Routes 50, 54, 85 and 93 will go into effect tomorrow, Wednesday, Sept. 9, to accommodate roadway paving.Maple Avenue, between the intersections of Dryden and Ithaca roads up to the city line, will be closed for paving for about five weeks. (Note: the Five Corners intersection will not be affected.)Outbound at Five Corners: >From Dryden Road use Cornell Street to Mitchell Street; left onto Mitchell Street; left through the Maplewood Apartments roadway; right onto Maple Avenue and then back onto the normal route.Inbound from Maple Avenue: Turn left on Maplewood Apartments roadway; right onto Mitchell Street; right onto Cornell Street; back to Dryden Road and then onto the normal route.TCAT, Inc (Tompkins Consolidated Area Transit, Inc.) is a not-for-profit corporation that provides public transportation for Tompkins County and portions of Tioga County.
