Man threatens to shoot Seneca Co. DHS workers

On 09-03-09 at approx. 4:51 PM Seneca Falls Police arrested Ernest F. Sorber Sr., age 66, from 25 Peterman Road Apt. J-2 Seneca Falls, NY for two counts of Harassment in the second degree. The arrest stems from an investigation from the Seneca Falls Police Department where Sorber allegedly made verbal threats in the presence of a Seneca County Child Protective Service employee and a Seneca County Department of Human Services employee that if anyone came to take his children away from him he would shoot them. Sorber was arraigned in the Seneca Falls Town Court and committed to the Seneca County Correctional Facility on $1,000 cash or $2,000 Ins. Bond. Sorber is to re-appear in Seneca Falls Town Court on September 9th, 2009 at 9:00 AM.
