On August 17, 2009 at approximately 6:26p.m, the Village of Seneca Falls Police arrested James A. Urwin, age 46, of 3 Miller Street Seneca Falls, NY 13148. Police received a 911 call stating that Urwin was alledgedly intoxicated and was refusing to leave a residence that he did not have permission to be at. When police arrived on scene Urwin, who is a NY State Parolee, then fled the scene on foot. Authorities were then involved in a foot chase with Urwin which led back to his residence where he was then placed into custody. Urwin was then charged with Obstructing Governmental Administration and Resisting Arrest. Urwin was then released on Appearance Tickets and was then transported to Geneva General Hospital for minor treatment. Urwin has to appear in front of Judge Mahoney at the Town of Seneca Falls Court on August 20, 2009 at 10:00a.m to answer his charges.
