On August 4, 2009 at approximately 1:40 A.M. the Village of Seneca Falls Police Department arrested Christopher D. Kenkel age 34 of 57 Stevenson Street apartment 13, Seneca Falls. Kenkel was charged with driving on a sidewalk, failure to keep right, speed not reasonable and prudent,and driving while intoxicated. These charges stem from a PI MVA which took place in the front yard of a residence on Garden Street which Kenkel lost control of his vehicle and struck an unoccupied parked pick-up truck which was located in a driveway. Kenkel was then transported to Geneva General Hospital by North Seneca Ambulance for treatment for minor injuries where he was then released to a third party. On August 12, 2009 at approximately 10:30 P.M. Kenkel was arrested for two counts of Reckless Endangerment, also stemming from the PI MVA. It is alledged that Kenkel almost struck two males while they were walking on Garden Street at the time of the collision. Kenkel was then arraigned in front of Seneca Falls Town Court Justice Joyce Mahoney where he was committed to the Seneca County Correctional Facility in lieu of $1000 cash bail or $2,000.00 secure bond. Kenkel has to re-appear in Seneca falls Town Court on August 26, 2009 at 9:00 A.M.
