Busy Thursday for Seneca Falls Village Police

On August 6, 2009 at approximately 9:30 AM, Seneca Falls Police arrested Albert U. Trapp age 58 of 27 Miller Street, Seneca Falls. Trapp had an Active Bench Warrant out of the Seneca Falls Town Court for Failure to Pay Fine on 6/30/2009. The original charge was for Endangering the Welfare of a minor. Trapp was arrainged in the Seneca Falls Town Court by Judge Mahoney and was remanded to the Seneca County Correctional Facility on 125 dollars cash bail or 15 days in jail. On August 6, 2009 at approximately 1:23 PM, Seneca Falls Police responded to Auburn Road for a report of a Personal Injury Motor Vehicle Accident. Upon investigation it was found that a vehicle driven by Kyle J. Dawley age 25, of 2136 WestBrook Road, Seneca Falls, struck a vehicle driven by Jessica M. Coleman age 31, of Auburn. Two passengers in Coleman’s vehicle had minor injuries and were Transported by North Seneca Ambulance to Auburn Memorial Hospital. No other injuries were reported at this time. Both vehicles sustained damage. Dawley was issued two UTTs for No Seatbelt and Moving from Lane Unsafely. On August 6, 2009 at approximately 2:41 PM, Seneca Falls Police arrested April L. Kohut, age 22 of 25 Peterman Road apartment I-2, Seneca Falls. Police responded to a residence on Webb Circle for a complaint of a found child. Upon Investigation Kohut was found to be the mother of the child and was asleep upstairs in her apartment when the child wondered off. Kohut was issued an Appearance ticket for Endangering the Welfare of a Child. Kohut is to appear in the Seneca Falls Town Court in front of Judge Mahoney on August 27, 2009 at 10:00 AM.On August 6, 2009 at approximately 9:15 AM, Seneca Falls Police arrested Neil E. Burt age 22 of 24 Augustus Street Apt A, Auburn. Burt was charged with Unathorized Use of a Motor Vehicle 3rd stemming from an incident on August 2, 2009. Burt was arraigned in the Seneca Falls Town Court in front of Judge Mahoney and remanded to the Seneca County Correctional Facility on 2500 dollars cash bail or 5000 dollars bond. Burt is to re-appear in the Seneca Falls Town Court on August 26, 2009 at 9:00 AM.
