On August 5, 2009 at approximately 2:22 PM, Seneca Falls Police arrested David A. Copp Sr. age 44 of 25 Peterman Road apt A-6, Seneca Falls. Village Police were flagged down and advised of a fight in progress at the Hunters Run Town Homes. Upon arrival Police observed Copp confronting another village resident and his two children in a threatening manner while in possession of a 3 foot wooden axe handle. Copp was charged with one count Menacing 3rd and two counts Endangering the Welfare of a Child. Copp was arraigned in the Seneca Falls Town Court by Judge Mahoney and was remanded to the Seneca County Correctional Facility on 1,000 dollars cash bail. Copp in due back in court on August 12, 2009.
