On July 12, 2009 at approximately 8:20p.m the Village of Seneca Falls Police arrested a sixteen year old male. Police received a complaint of an altercation involving a sixteen year old male and a fifteen year old male on Jefferson Street in the Village of Seneca Falls. It is alleged that the sixteen year old forcibly took a Nano I-Pod from the pocket of the fifteen year old and then fled on foot. Police located the suspect and was brought in for questioning. After the investigation, authorities charged the sixteen year old suspect with Felony Robbery in the 3rd Degree, Felony Grand Larceny in the 4th Degree and Unlawfull Possession of Marijuana. The sixteen year old was then arraigned in front of Judge Mahoney at the Town of Seneca Falls Court and was committed to the Seneca County Correctional Facility in lieu of $2,500.00 bail. A Felony Hearing is scheduled for July 16, 2009 at 9:00a.m at the Town of Seneca Falls Court.
