2 people were arrested following a routine traffic stop on Auburn Road in the Village Of Seneca Falls. On June 30, 2009 at approximately 11:59 p.m. the Seneca Falls Police Department arrested Vanessa L. Smydra, age 23, of 674 Otisco Valley Road, Preble, NY 13141 for DWI following a routine traffic stop. She is also charged with failure to keep right and for DWI with a BAC of .08 or higher. She was released on traffic tickets and has to appear in Seneca Falls Town Court on 07/09/09 at 10:00 a.m. to answer the charges. Village police also arrested Jonelle L. Smydra, age 22, of 4855 State Route 80, Tully, NY 13159 on that same traffic stop for Unlawful Possession of Marijuana after discovering marijuana in the vehicle during a search of the vehicle. Smydra admitted to officers that the marijuana was hers and she was released on an appearance ticket. She also has to appear in Seneca Falls Town Court on 07/09/09 at 10:00 a.m. to answer the charge.
