Seneca Falls Police Bear 6/20/09

On June 20th, 2009 at approx. 7:14 PM Seneca Falls Police arrested a sixteen and seventeen year old juvenile for Unlawful Possession of an Alcoholic Beverage under the age of twenty one. The arrest stems from an investigation where Seneca Falls Police were dispatched to a residence on Fall Street for a report of an under age drinking party. Upon patrols arrival it was discovered these two youths were in possession of a 1.75 liter bottle of Vodka in which they had been consuming. There were three other juveniles present in the residence at the time of the incident however they were not in possession of the alcohol or had been consuming. All of the juveniles were transported back to the station where parents were notified and then responded to the office to pick up their children. The seventeen year old juvenile was then transported to Geneva General Hospital by North Seneca Ambulance to be treated for signs of alcohol poisoning. Both the sixteen year old and the seventeen year old were given appearance tickets to appear in Seneca Falls Town Court in front of Judge Mahoney on July 2nd 2009 at 10:00 AM.On June 20th, 2009 at approx. 3:04 AM Seneca Falls Police arrested Matthew R. Taylor age 25 of 11 1/2 Williams Street Seneca Falls, NY. Taylor was charged with Speed in Zone, DWI and BAC greater than .08% following a traffic stop on Van Renssalear Street in the Village of Seneca Falls. Taylor is to appear in the Seneca Falls Town Court on 6/25/2009 at 10:00 AM.
