Two convicted murderers who escaped from a prison in Arkansas have been captured in Hornell, Steuben County late Tuesday afternoon.Calvin Adams and Jeffrey Grinder were apprehended by State Troopers. Adams was convicted of capital murder in 1995. Grinder was convicted of murder in 2004.Grinder and Adams escaped from prison in Little Rock, Arkansas Friday by wearing prison guard uniforms. Police said they smashed their car into a pole and tried to run away, but were caught.It is believed the fugitives went to Missouri and Michigan, where Adams has family, before coming to New York. Police have started the process of expediting the prisoners back to Arkansas.
