Seneca Falls Police Beat 5/26/09

On Monday May 25, 2009 at approximately 10:00 pm, Seneca Falls Village Police arrested Robert J. Stevens, age 36, of 55 Bridge Street apartment #2 Seneca Falls. He was charged with harassment in the second degree and endangering the welfare of a child. He allegedly shoved a seven year old female causing her to fall into a piece of furniture earlier in the evening at a Bridge Street residence. An arrest warrant was issued for Stevens by the Honorable Joyce Mahoney. He was arraigned in Seneca Falls Town Court and was committed to the Seneca County Correctional Facility on $1,000.00 cash bail or $2,000.00 secure bond. He is due back in Seneca Falls Town Court on June 10, 2009 @ 09:00 hours to further answer the charges. On 05/24/09, at approximately 7:58 p.m., the Seneca Falls Police Department arrested both John E. Carson, age 43, and Teri A. Utter, age 29, both of 161 W. Bayard Street, Apt. 2, Seneca Falls, NY for Endangering the Welfare of a Child. The arrests stem from a report police received of a 6-year-old child walking around Kid’s Territory unsupervised. Both are accused of allowing the child to leave the residence unsupervised. They were issued appearance tickets to appear in Seneca Falls Town Court on 06/11/09 at 9:00 a.m.On 05/24/09 at approximately 10:39 p.m., the Seneca Falls Police Department arrested Nicholas F. Cerino, age 20, of 23 Indian Hill Drive, Waterloo, NY 13165 for Possession of Alcohol while under 21 years of age. The arrest came after police were in the area responding to a separate incident and observed an underage drinkiing party in progress behind the Barrington Apartments. Cerino was issued an appearance ticket to appear in Seneca Falls Town Court on 06/11/09 at 9:00 a.m.On 05/24/09 at 10:11 a.m. the Seneca Falls Police Department arrested Mark J. Kozemko, age 51, of 4112 Squaw Point Rd., Dundee, NY 14837 for Criminal Contempt 2nd. Kozemko is accused of violating a stay-away order of protection after police observed Kozemko in the presence of a village resident with whom he has an order of protection against. He was arraigned in Seneca Falls Town Court and committed on $10,000 Cash/$20,000 Bond and has to re-appear on 06/10/09 at 9:00 a.m.
