Watkins Glen Chamber May Mixer

If you’ve seen the brand new 2009 Watkins Glen and Schuyler County Travel Guide, then you can guess the theme of the Chamber’s upcoming May 20th Mixer! Held at the Seneca Harbor Waterfront, in conjunction with the Village Marina, this month’s Mixer will be based at Seneca Sailing Adventures from 5-7p.m. Mixer attendees will have the opportunity to step aboard the Lee Sea Anne, owner Terry Stewart’s 38′ Cabo Rico Pilot House Sailing Vessel, which will host an open-house viewing session! The Village Marina, now officially open with a new executive chef on board, will feature live entertainment on the deck, by guitarist Ken Erway, as well as food and drink specials, and complimentary hors d’oeuvres. This monthly mixer will also host the official 2009 Travel Guide Distribution Kick Off. Due to popular demand, 125,000 copies were printed of this years’ guide- an additional 25,000 more than previous years. Members are encouraged to call the Chamber to secure their share of 2009 guides; which include all Schuyler County tourism attractions, a full accommodation and restaurant listing, colorful ads and specials, maps and travel tips. Note that this is the official information tool for travelers visiting Schuyler County, and is distributed all over the United States and Canada!Don’t miss out, as these go fast. Look for Chamber Visitor Center staff, on hand working a separate travel guide supply tent- appropriately with Seneca Sailing Adventures not only on the cover of the guides, but also as the backdrop that evening!Anyone who would like to reserve space at the Mixer, or to place your order for 2009 guides, should call the Watkins Glen AreaChamber of Commerce at 607-535-4300 or email [email protected].
