The Withers’ Family Concert presents The Syracuse Symphony Orchestra’s String Quartet. The concert will be held on Mother’s Day, May 10, 2009, at 3 p.m. at the Seneca Falls Library, 47 Cayuga Street.Join the SSO String Quartet, made up of principal players from the Syracuse Symphony Orchestra, for a concert featuring works by Mozart (Eine Kleine Nachtmusik), Bach, Shostakovich, Leroy Anderson (Plink, Plank, Plunk) and Calvin Custer’s “Central Coach Special”, a bluegrass themed piece written especially for this quartet. The String Quartet includes Cristina Buciu, Violin; Petia Radneva-Manolova, Violin; Li Li, Viola and Lindsay Groves, Cello.Take your Mother out to brunch, shower her with flowers and gifts then bring her to the Seneca Falls Library for an afternoon of wonderful music. Free and open to all.
