Waterloo Police arrested two Village residents on drug charges following a home visit by NYS Parole at 78 Center St in Waterloo on 3/30/09 @ 2130 hrs. NYS Parole went to the residence to visit parolee Michael J. Roney, age 46, and discovered marihuana being grown in the residence. Arrested were David B. Kolbash, age 27, and Bethany L. Uerkvitz, age 33, both of 78 Center St., Waterloo.Kolbash was charged with Unlawful Growing of Cannibus, Criminal Possession of Marijuana 4th, and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th. Uerkvitz was charged with Unlawful Growing of Cannibus, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana. They were both issued appearance tickets for 4/15/09 to appear in the Village of Waterloo Court. Roney was detained by NYS Parole and charges are pending against him.Waterloo Police seized 94 marijuana plants, approximately 5 ounces in packaged marijuana, numerous prescription pills and drug paraphernalia from the residence. Waterloo Police were assisted at the scene by the Seneca County Sheriff’s Department, NYS Parole and the Seneca County DA’s Office.
