On March 12, 2009 at approximately 1:30 pm, Seneca Falls Village Police arrested Michael J. Cornish, age 20, of 25 Peterman Road, apartment C-7 Seneca Falls NY 13148. He was charged with criminal contempt in the second degree and harassment in the second degree. The charges stem from a domestic incident that occurred at his residence. Cornish is accused of grabbing a unidentifed female and pushing her. During the time of the alleged incident there was a class “B” order of protection in effect between Cornish and the victim. Cornish was arraigned before Seneca Falls Town Justice Joyce Mahoney and a class “A” order of protection was issued. Cornish was committed to the Seneca County Correctional Facility on $2,500 cash or $5,000 ins. bond. Next court date is March 25, 2009 at 9 am.
