It is with regret that the Watkins Glen Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors voted unanimously to terminate its employment relationship with President Crystal Ricks, effective immediately. With support of the current staff, the Chamber is moving forward with day to day operations and will begin the search process for a new President in the near future.Statement from Board Chairman, Tom Phillips: “The regular monthly review of the Chamber of Commerce’s financial statements conducted this week revealed irregularities, which were reported to the Board of Directors. The Board has taken all appropriate action to secure the Chamber of Commerce’s finances, and the matter was referred to law enforcement authorities. More details will be provided as they become available.”
