TCAT Rt. 16 Detoured Due to Closure of Willow Ave.

On Tuesday, February 3, 2009, Willow Ave. leading to the TCAT facility will be closed for emergency railroad track repair from approximately 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. TCAT does not expect significant impacts to its services as a result of this road closure. However, since TCAT will be staging operations from the parking lot at the Shops at Ithaca Mall, there may be minor delays in route timings due to this change to our operations. There is one route detour due to this emergency road closing: the Rt. 16 will bypass the TCAT facility. The bus will travel south on State Route 13, turn left onto Dey Street, and then continue on route by turning left on Lincoln Street. For more information please call 277-RIDE or visit www.tcatbus.com.TCAT, Inc (Tompkins Consolidated Area Transit, Inc.) is a not-for-profit corporation that provides public transportation for Tompkins County and portions of Tioga County.
