4 car accident in Waterloo

Waterloo Village Police Dept. responded to a four car personal injury MVA at the intersection of West Main St. and West St. Jessica McMann, age 31, of 49 Bridge St., Seneca Falls, was travelling west on West Main St. when she struck a vehicle that was stopped attempting to make a left turn onto West St. The operator of the vehicle that was stopped was a Kevin Gilbo, age 23, of 8 West St., Waterloo. The McMann vehicle continued and crossed into the eastbound lanes. The McMann vehicle then struck a vehicle being operated by Steven Utter, age 49, of 53 Chapin St., Canandaigua, who was travelling in an eastbound direction on West Main St. The McMann vehicle then struck a fourth vehicle head-on travelling eastbound on West Main Street being operated by a Alicia Comstock, age 32, of 301 East North St., Geneva. Alicia Comstock complained of neck and knee pain and was transported to GGHER by NSVAC to be treated. Comstock’s 4 year old daughter, a passenger in the vehicle, was properly restrained in a child seat and was uninjured.Jessica McMann complained of chest and neck pain and was transported to GGHER by NSVAC to be treated.The McMann and Comstock vehicle were demolished and towed from the scene.The Gilbo and Utter vehicle received moderate damage and were towed from the scene.West Main Street traffic was closed and detoured for about an hour.Waterloo Police were assisted by the Waterloo Fire Dept. and Fire Police, Border City Fire Dept., North Seneca Ambulance, Seneca County Sheriff’s Dept.
